Deitz/Wall on top in red flag interrupted second practice
Adrian Deitz and David Wall proved fastest in Practice 2 for Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS at Bathurst in a red flag interrupted session.
The Deitz/Wall combo held sway after the first half of the 30-minute hit out with a benchmark lap time of 2:06.907s in their Lamborghini Huracan GT3.
As drivers began to improve on their sector times the red flag was thrown after an incident for Brad Schumacher on Conrod Straight brought an untimely end to proceedings.

Ultimately no one was able to set a representative lap with the interruption, with times falling two seconds short of the best in Practice 1.
Deitz’s effort proved 1.5s quicker than the next best car, with Yasser Shahin and Garth Tander’s The Bend Motorsport Park Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo in second position.
The Nissan GTR NISMO GT3 of Brett Hobson was classified third overall and the best of the Trophy class competitors.
Schumacher finished up fourth despite needing to be recovered in his Audi R8 LMS Ultra, while Gary Higgon and Paul Stokell were fifth in similar machinery.
Tony Quinn washed up sixth aboard his Aston Martin Vantage ahead of the Triple Eight Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Prince Jefri Ibrahim and Shane van Gisbergen.
The Tony Bates/Chaz Mostert Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo managed eighth, followed by Max Twigg in the #23 Audi R8 LMS and Marc Cini who completed the top 10 in another Audi.
Qualifying for GT World Challenge Australia takes place on Saturday at 09:05 local time.
