TOURING CAR HISTORY PART OF NOLAN HSV ATTACK

A KEY HSV team contesting the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour are ready for a stronger Bathurst campaign this year. A disappointing run in 2017 has Daniel Clift, Wayne Clift and Ashley Heffernan ready for a stronger campaign this year in their VZ HSV.The Nolan Finishes HSV entered last years 6-hour with a suspect diff heading into the race, the component failing after just over four hours of competition. “We’ve worked hard on reliability and believe we’ve got a strong package with massive brake upgrades from TBS Racing (BHSS-TBS) and a bullet proof engine from Hi torque performance,” Daniel Clift said. “The car is making excellent power and should be much faster and go the distance this year.”Our team is managed by Ex Privateer supercar driver Kevin Heffernan. Kevin ran the very recognisable ‘Price Attack’ VP Commodore supercar in the 90s.”Behind the wheel will be former Touring Car privateer Wayne Clift, who raced in Australia’s top category between 1984 and 1987 with the likes of Jim Keogh and Bernie Stack in a Northern Territory-sponsored Commodore.Kevin Heffernan’s son Ashley Heffernan, an experienced historic touring car driver in his own right, has driven the HSV with Daniel to multiple podiums in QLDDaniel Clift who is an Production car driver with experience in sports sedans and GT cars.”Between the whole team, the managers and drivers have turned hundreds and hundreds of laps around the mountain which will hopefully play to our advantage as the race goes on,” Clift said.The Nolan Finishes HSV will contest class A2 in this Sunday’s Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour.
