MCADAM & CARROLL JOIN FORCES FOR THE BATHURST 6 HOUR

Liam McAdam Motorsport today announced that Nic Carroll and Liam McAdam will join forces to take on the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour to be held on April 1st, 2018.  Both drivers are front running competitors in the Toyota 86 Racing Series and are looking forward to testing their skills and endurance in their first major long distance event. The decision to enter the event “was driven by the desire to gain more valuable time at Bathurst in a Toyota 86 as we prepare to take on the 2018 National T86RS Championship” said McAdam.”Having Nic as a co-driver is exciting as he is very competitive and together I am sure we can do a great job whilst gaining valuable endurance experience”.The team decided earlier this year to run a Toyota 86 in T86RS format in the event as part of the season preparations.  Having acquired a statutory write as the base for a new car build, Liam McAdam Motorsport has worked hard to get the car ready for the event.”Driving with Liam will be a terrific opportunity for us to show what we are capable of, but more importantly to work together as a team to take on our first major endurance event” said Carroll.  “With our combined racing experience covering karts, Formula Ford, V8 Supercars and Toyota 86 and track time at Bathurst, we have the background to do a solid job in the 6 Hour.”The team has received significant support from long term sponsor Phil Gilbert Motor Group Parts and Veloce Tuning in making sure the car is well prepared and ready for the event.”Without the support of the team at Phil Gilbert Motor Group and Veloce Tuning this event would not have been possible” said McAdam. Nic and Liam would also like to thank Prestige Auto Haus, All Points Glass, Bennett & Philp Lawyers and iPAS for their continued support.
